May 1, 2017. Matsumoto Castle is one of the biggest and most interesting Japanese castles I’ve been to. Unfortunately it was a bit of a grey and raining day, but we made the best of it anyway.

Look Up… WAY Up (photo of the week)
In contrast to last week’s ruins, here’s a look at the ultra modern side of Japan. This is the Abeno Harukas building in Osaka, said to be the tallest skyscraper in Japan. I shot this when I visited Osaka back in December 2016.
