Hi everyone,
Thank you for your prayers over the past month!
In September we kept busy getting our Christmas manga project ready for print. This is the kind of thing that always ends up being more work than expected, as last-minute edits and prepress problems always seem to come up, and this time was no exception. Fortunately, we finished on-schedule, ordered and received our first batch of manga booklets, and are happy with the results. (See unboxing video below.)
Now we’re shifting gears to promoting, taking orders, packing and shipping, which will be ongoing through October and into November (fortunately we have our coworker Mickey’s help). Please pray for a good response from the church and missions community in Japan, and that these resources can be an effective outreach tool this Christmas.
October also brings a couple of preaching, music and outreach opportunities — one at our home church in Kanazawa (on 10/11) and another at a church in Osaka (on 10/18). Along with this, we’ve got ministries in November to prep for. And (as if all this wasn’t enough) we’re also moving into a new apartment (locally) this month!
As you can see, there’s a lot going on! Please pray for energy, rest, wisdom, strength, health and safety! Pray too that God will anoint and use us in the unique mix of ministries we get to be a part of during this busy season.
Thank you as always for partnering with us!
