Hi everyone,
Thank you for your prayers throughout October. As predicted it was a busy month — but good! This is just a brief update to keep you praying until we can send a more complete update later in the month.
In October…
- We moved into a new apartment. Thankful for God’s provision and that things went relatively smoothly, though we’re still settling in.
- We did music and preaching ministries in Osaka and here in Kanazawa. Thankful for God’s help and leading in both, and especially thankful that there were a few non-Christians who came out to the service in Osaka. We also had a good time catching up with some old friends nearby.
- The Christmas manga project got a good response from the missions community, with about 8000 copies ordered so far. Please pray for us as we continue to pack and ship booklets out over the next couple of weeks. And pray all those manga will be put to good use over the Christmas season.
In November…
- I’m going on a solo trip to Funabashi (in Chiba) next week, to speak at a missions support event at a church there.
- November 18-20 Yoko and I, along with our teammate Mickey, are attending Renown, a conference for missionaries, church planters and pastors, in Shizuoka. We’re setting up a booth and promoting Drawbridge Creations, especially the Christmas project.
- And later in the month, we’re scheduled to kick off Advent at Immanuel Fukui Church, with preaching and worship leading, on the 29th.
We’d appreciate your continuing prayers as we continue through this busy (but fun!) season of ministry.
Thank you as always for being on our team!
